Borussia M'gladbach need something 'more than extraordinary' to beat Man City, admits Marco Rose - another clean sheet coming for Guardiola's men?
Borussia Monchengladbach head coach Marco Rose has admitted that his side would need something more than extraordinary" to defeat Manchester City in the Champions League last-16 round.
"It would be more than extraordinary, it would be a sensation," the German told the pre-match press conference on Monday, as quoted by BBC.
"Pep has them playing almost Total Football."
As well as Man City's 2-0 victory over Gladbach last month, Tuesday's return clash between the sides will take place at the Puskas Arena in Budapest due to the Covid-19 restrictions. Goals from Bernardo Silva and Gabriel Jesus secured a confident victory for the Cityzens back then.
What makes Pep Guardiola's side hot favourites to claim a victory over the Colts is the latter club's current run of six consecutive defeats across all competitions.

City, for their part, are more than likely to register another clean sheet against Gladbach - something they did in 12 out of their last 20 matches.
"We don't want to give the impression that this is a friendly. It's a Champions League game where we have a chance of reaching the next round, but we have to be realistic," Rose, who will take over at Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season, added.
"We want to put in a good performance and then come home and concentrate on our essential tasks.
"Of course the City game is important to us. On the other hand, if I had said that I have full confidence that we can go there and turn it around, then everyone would have shaken their head and said Rose has lost his marbles."
