Former Real Madrid chief Ramon Calderon: Los Blancos are unlikely to make any mega-money transfers in the summer

Harry Kane has become the latest target for Real Madrid. At least some repors claim that Los Blancos are planning a big-money move for the Spurs' striker. However former Real Madrid president doubts that Los Blancos will have the funds to make mega-money transfers in the summer.

“They are always rumours at this time of the season. They are talking about Mbappe, Haaland… too many players,” Ramon Calderon told talkSPORT Breakfast.

“We are not in the best form economically-speaking because we are refurbishing our stadium spending a lot of money.

“It will be difficult to spend money in the summer. We always try to sign good players, we’ve being that for years.”

It seems that Real Madrid plans to sign a big star will have to be shelved until better times come.
