Ronald Koeman responds to rumours linking Haaland and Neymar with moves to Barcelona
"I don't know if it's possible for Haaland or Neymar to come to Barca, the final decision of whether something is possible or not is not up to me, but to the President, based on the economic situation. We talk about how to improve the team and then we'll see," Ronald Koeman said.
Last week President Laporta met with Haaland's agent and father in Barcelona. However, the visiting duo from Dortmund also flew to Madrid to discuss the player's transfer with Madrid chiefs.
Koeman's apprehension over the deal is understandable. The Blaugrana will need to spend upwards of €100 million to land the prolific forward, according to various reports.
As for Neymar, contract extension talks between the Brazilian and PSG are not progressing, which provides the ground for speculation over his future.
