Who will sign Sergio Aguero this summer? Bookies updates odds on Argentine's next club
Manchester City's all-time best goalscorer Sergio Aguero is set to leave the Cityzens on a free transfer at the end of the season.
The Argentine's contract runs out in June and City appear to be in hurry to offer him an extension. The 32-year-old has long been linked with a move to Barcelona and the Catalans have now become bookies' favourites to land Aguero at 2.50.
As per reports, Barca's newly-elected president wants to sign Sergio this summer in a bid to convince Lionel Messi to put pen to paper on a new long-term deal with the Blaugrana.
Odds on Sergio Aguero's next club:
- Barcelona - 2.50 (40% probability);
- Any Argentinian club - 4.00 (25%);
- Atletico Madrid - 6.00 (17%);
- Juventus - 9.00 (11%);
- Paris Saint-Germain - 11.00 (11%).
Aguero joined City in a €40m move from Atletico in 2011 and has gone on to score 257 goals in 384 appearances for the club. He's won four Premier League titles, five EFL Cups and the FA Cup during his spell at the Etihad Stadium.
