Main Contenders
Barcelona (1.75)
Ernesto Valverde's charges claimed the title with four matchdays left in the season having won a tough 4-2 victory away to Deportivo La Coruna. The Blaugrana had a phenomenal campaign, finishing an outstanding 14 points clear off their nearest opponents Atletico Madrid. Considering the presence of talented players in Valverde's squad, they remain favourites with the bookmakers to win the trophy once more.
Real Madrid (2.50)
Los Blancos clinched the UEFA Champions League title last term as they defeated Liverpool 3-1 to win a record of of their 13th trophy and their third in a row. However, they were only able to finish third in the Spanish top-flight after falling behind early and never recovered. The exits of Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo from the club, as the latter opted for Juventus, could mean more woes for the Blancos. Nevertheless, the arrival of Julen Lopetegui will hope to restore some league pride for the first time since the 2016-17 season.
Atletico Madrid (11.00)
The Rojiblancos managed to finish inside La Liga's top three for the sixth season on the bounce. Having claimed the Europa League title, they got some pride finishing ahead of their cross-town rivals Real Madrid for only the second time since the 2013/14 season. Having added the quality of Thomas Lemar from Monaco, Diego Simeone and his charges will be gunning to win the 11th Liga crown in Atleti's history when they get their campaign underway against Valencia on Monday, August 20,2018.
Outsiders
Valencia (101.00)
Los Che ended their last campaign in fourth position having been in serious title contention at some point. The team will aim bigger this coming season knowing well that players like Paulista, Murillo, Zaza and Neto, Kondogbia and Guedes have all committed their long-term future to the club. Valencia also return to the Champions League and having shown strong form last season, they could repeat how they challenged the top teams and could be on their way to clinching the title for the first time since 2004.
Sevilla (151.00)
Pablo Machin's men ended their last campaign in a dismal seventh position as opposed to their previous outing which saw them qualify for the Uefa Champions League. Though no lesser team has broken the jinx of lifting the trophy in a long time, the Andalusian outfit do have an outside chance with massive odds attached that only brave punters can stake on.
