Sweden landed their spot in the last-16 courtesy of a 3-0 win over Mexico, which saw them progress as group winners. Few gave them a chance of making it out of the group, let alone topping Group F, and they'll be confident of landing a quarter-final berth at Switzerland's expense.
Switzerland were held to a late 2-2 draw with Costa Rica on Wednesday night. However, the absence of key defenders Stephan Lichtsteiner and Fabian Schar, who both received their second bookings of the tournament in the stalemate, will hinder their chances of overcoming Sweden on Tuesday afternoon.
This unlikely to be the glamour tie of the last-16, but it's one that Sweden should edge.

These two sides are very evenly matched. If you were going to push me I'd say Switzerland have the edge in attack. They are slightly more creative in the way they play the game whereas Sweden are very strong at the back. They are a very good unit.

This is a very tough game to call. I can easily see this one going all the way to extra-time and even penalties. I can't separate them in normal time so I'm going for 1-1 but I'm backing the Swiss to come through this one, possibly in extra-time.

Switzerland have got a couple of big names in Stephan Lichtsteiner and Fabian Schar missing through suspension. Looking at all the other ties, I can predict a result quite comfortably but this game I just don't know. I think this one can go all the way to penalties. It's going to be goalless with Switzerland edging through on penalties.

Switzerland have been playing well and got out of Group E without too much fuss.

It is very obvious what Sweden do, and they definitely play to their strengths without having any really talented strikers.

From what I have seen of the Swiss, they just have a little bit more about them, which is why I am backing them to get to the quarter-finals.

I see a tight game here because Sweden are very solid at the back while Switzerland are better in the attacking third. The game looks more even and I won't be surprised if it ends at 1-1 or even a barren draw during the regular time.
