Tunisia continue their warm-up for the World Cup with a friendly against Turkey in Geneva this evening and the draw feels like a touch of value.
Nabil Maâloul's side topped their final group in African Qualifying - going undefeated in six matches against Congo DR, Libya and Guinea. They actually haven't lost any of their last eight fixtures, and they drew 2-2 with Portugal on Monday.
Turkey won't be in Russia this summer as they could only finish in fourth place, behind Iceland, Croatia and Ukraine. They managed to beat Iran by two goals to one earlier this week, but their form isn't great and it's just two wins from their last seven. It is worth noting however that they are unbeaten in three.
This Tunisian side is one to fear. While it must be said that Portugal didn't have all of their players for their most recent friendly with the North Africans, they still had a two goal lead inside 35 minutes and looked to be cruising. But Tunisia had other plans, and they would draw level and get a result in Braga to underline the fact that they are not scared of European opponents. Turkey are a good team, but they aren't on the level of the Portuguese, so they might find it very tough in Geneva.
