Lyon have only lost three of their last 24 matches but eleven of these have been draws, which isn’t really the form of a team trying to challenge for a title. They currently sit 3rd in the league and have kept just three clean sheets in their last 16 matches in all competitions. Their defence has been pretty woeful recently with the introduction of Leo Dubois at right-back against Reims doing little to remedy this. Lyon are unbeaten on the road since October though so they’ll be hoping this record can bring three points back to the Groupama.

Les Violets sit 14th in the league but battled hard and showed a good account of themselves against Europa League chasing Strasbourg. They have managed to sort out their attacking woes and have scored eleven goals in their last six games, with Max Gradel being at the centre of most.
