Leipzig’s attacking record and Mainz’s lack of defensive form is a mix that should see their run continue – backing them to win looks a good option. Only two sides have conceded more goals than Mainz (30) in the 14 Bundesliga matches so far in 2019, an average of over two goals per game conceded, so the Red Bulls should have a good shot at maintaining (or bettering) their own two-goal per game scoring average from this year too. Leipzig have also conceded a league-low seven goals over the same number, so it could also prove a very tough encounter for a hit or miss Mainz offence.
