Despite winning the Russian Super Cup last term, Spartak had a season to forget. Italian boss Massimo Carrera remained, nevertheless, at the helm of the team and has no room for mistakes this time around.
FC Orenburg are the current champions of FNL and have a solid team, but they will need to pull off something special to win Saturday’s visit to Moscow.
Spartak tend to be fairly inconsistent at home, but they are favourites to win here.
