Nottingham Forest are on a poor run of form at present with no wins in their last five league games. That's a disappointing run as it follows an unbeaten run of seven games in the Championship. Their dip in form has taken them down to 10th in the table and six points adrift of the play-off positions. Saturday saw them lose 1-0 at struggling Millwall and that was the fourth time in their last five matches they have failed to score. The other game saw them give away a 3-0 lead at Norwich City to draw 3-3. Both of their last two home league games have been lost by a 1-0 scoreline and another defeat here will put even more pressure on their manager Altor Karanka.
Leeds United are top of the Championship with a three-point lead over Norwich City. Both of those teams lost at the weekend with Leeds suffering a surprise home loss to Hull City, That loss ended a run of seven straight league wins. Four of their last five away league games have ended in victory and seven out of 12 have been won this season, the best away record in the Championship. With Forest struggling for points and goals, this looks an ideal opportunity for Leeds to get an eighth away league win of the season.
