The clash pitting Leeds United against Norwich will also generate keen interest from third placed Sheffield United who are three points off second place but more crucially it will ignite the promotion race with a number of teams holding on in a packed top six separated by just 11 points. Leeds United had a good start to the season but the recent past has been shaky, with the Championship leaders managing just two wins from their last six matches. The remaining four have ended in losses. After a run of seven straight wins, a bad spell checked in for Leeds and they have managed just six points in their last five matches in the Championship. However, Norwich too have not had a good run, with just one win in their last seven matches, with no clean sheet therein. Actually, Norwich have managed just three clean sheets in the last 15 matches. Norwich’s high placing in the league however, is down to a consistent run; they have lost just once in the last 17 league matches while they are unbeaten in 12 away matches in the Championship, winning six and drawing as many. Four of the last five away matches in the league have ended in draws. They get to face a Leeds side that has also been good at home in the league, with just two losses in the last 18. Leeds’ last five home games in the Championship have yielded four wins and a loss.
