Both Villarreal and Getafe had midweek matches on Wednesday, in the Copa del Rey and while Getafe left it late to beat Real Valladolid and progress, Villarreal had to come back from two goals down to draw with Espanyol. One positive aspect about Villarreal is their fighting spirit and they have been scoring quite regularly of late, netting two goals or more in six of their last seven matches.
