Utrecht play host to Zrinjski at Stadion Galgenwaard in the Europa League second qualifying round, first leg. The Eredivisie club return to European competitions following a two-year absence and they are determined to book their place in the Europa League. Despite the fact that Zrinjski outplayed Akademija Pandev in the first qualifying round, I believe that there is a big value in betting on John van den Brom’s troops.
The Bosnians are likely to stick to their attacking style of play, but I do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Utrecht’s party at Stadion Galgenwaard as the Eredivisie outfit are a real force to be reckoned with at home. Bosnian clubs have been struggling in European competitions in recent years and, taking everything into account, I predict that Zrinjski are going to return to Mostar empty-handed. The two teams meet for the first time ever in a competitive match.
