Finland and Wales face each other in ther UEFA Nations League in what is expected to be a close encounter. Finland impressed in the Euro 2020 qualifiers, with the team booking their place at the showpiece tournament without any difficulties. Norwich City attacker Teemu Pukki was scoring goals for fun in the Euro 2020 qualifying campaign, and he is likely to pose a big threat for the opposition back-line.
Wales, on the other hand, qualified for the European Championship finals thanks to a 2-0 win over Hungary in their last group match. Hal Robson-Kanu returns to the squad following a three-year absence, but, as always, a man to watch in the away team will be Real Madrid ace Gareth Bale. Stoke City midfielder Joe Allen is sidelined with injury. Anyhow, beating Finland on the road is easier said than done.
😍 Good game buddies. I want to see this game. My tip is for Wales, because:
- Wales are unbeaten in their last six matches, winning four. It's been a ship-steadying period after a run of four defeats in six games.
- The majority of matches in the Giggs era have been low-scoring with only two of the last 11 featuring more than two goals.
- Finland games tend to feature more goalmouth action, something we don't expect to change following their promotion, with their last five featuring at least three goals.
- Finland are strong at home, only losing two of their last 15 home matches.
