1. The two teams have met each other just once in the past.
2. It was in the group phase of this very competition when Tottenham claimed a demolishing 4-0 victory on the home court.
Dinamo Zagreb have been one of the most pleasant surprises of this season’s group stage. They conceded only one goal in six group-phase matches and it came in the last round’s clash against CSKA Moscow. They quite comfortably went past Krasnodar in the last 32 round, beating the Russians 2-3 on the road and 1-0 at home.
However, I don’t see them doing much against the in-form and free-scoring Tottenham Hotspur, regardless of all of the numbers and the statistics they have put in this term.
The home win has to be a banker bet at the 1.40 odds. I will be brave enough and back the Spurs to keep a clean sheet as well, something they’ve done in three of the last four outings across competitions.
The home win to nil is paid at the 2.40 odds, while I will also back Tottenham to have the lead at the half time and win the match at the end at the odds of 2.00.
