Both teams have same win, draws and losses . but the one with the better current form are newcastle who have won their last three matches and go into this game full of confidence.
Newcastle looked like a beaten team as October drew to a close. Just before the international break they finally broke the curse and picked up a 1-0 win at home to Watford. Last weekend they made it 3 Premier League wins on the trot with a 2-1 win over Burnley.
Hammers have now won just 1 of their last 6 Premier League games. It is of course terrible. Overall this season they have won a mere 3 times, and despite Newcastle starting the season with a 10 game winless run somehow West Ham find themselves below The Magpies in the table. 7 of their 13 outings have ended in defeat, and away from home they have won just once.
But I believe that the Hammers have a classier composition. They can solve problems at the top of the table. My feeling is that West Ham will not lose, for example, there will be a draw. This is my prediction.
When Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez puts a run of good results together, it is not for just two or three games - it seems to last a bit longer than that.
The Magpies are currently unbeaten for four games and have won their past three, and I can see them getting three more points here.
West Ham, meanwhile, have only won one of their past six matches. Flaky is probably a good way to describe them, although I don't see them getting dragged down into the relegation battle.
