Brighton's home record is decent, with only one defeat from seven games at the Amex Stadium this season. So, this will not be an easy afternoon for Chelsea, but I still think they will build on last weekend's impressive win over Manchester City. Chelsea were second-best for most of the first half against City but they were able to hang on, and then they capitalised when they had a good spell. They should be able to cope with whatever Brighton can throw at them too.
Chelsea have lost their last couple of Premier League games on the road, but they are a quality outfit and are taken to take the points back to the capital even though Brighton have only lost one of their last ten home Premier League games. Chelsea have won all six games between the clubs in top-flight English football and the last time Brighton beat the Blues in any competition was a 1933 3rd Round FA Cup tie! Eden Hazard has provided an assist in his last three Premier League games and the Belgian international has been back to his brilliant best of late.
The Seagulls don't have a very good record against Chelsea and have lost all 6 league games only scoring 1 goal in those games,They are currently on a decent run at home and are tough to beat, they usually net when at home but Chelsea are playing well just now.The visitors have lost their last two away league games at Wolves and Spurs so will have to be on the ball. They had a very good win over Man City in their last league game and think they can get the three points here.
