Handicap Real Madrid (-1.5) • 1.39

Real Madrid come to the end of March and their only real target is to see if they can finish ahead of Atletico Madrid to finish second in La Liga. They are on their third manager of the season and have a familiar face in charge with the return of Zinedine Zidane. He's won both of his games in his second time in charge of the club and a third one looks more than likely this weekend. Home league form has been patchy this season but there are few sides who have lost four home matches while only conceding eight goals in 14 games. They stlll have nine home league wins in the bag and win number ten looks on its way.
Huesca are bottom of the table and look like making a swift return to the second-tier of Spanish football. They are seven points from safety and that's despite a run of three wins in their last seven league matches. Their away form is poor with only one win in the last 14 played in La Liga. The reverse fixture between these two sides saw Real Madrid win 1-0 thanks to an early Gareth Bale goal. Real can get another win here and lead at both half and full time.

Manchester City Win • 1.176

When looking at City's form in all competitions across the board from the Premier League, to the Champions League, they consistently perform with little to no mistakes. I am expecting their strong midfield especially to control the Fulham players and keep them at distance all the way through the game and set up an easy 3 points through Aguero and Sterling in particular.

Over 2 Goals • 1.615

Argentina have not had much competitive action in recent times and have lost twice in the last five friendly matches they have had. They recently fell to Venezuela and had earlier fallen to Brazil. After this friendly match they will go into more serious action as the Copa America qualifiers draw close and they will be hoping to make it count. Argentina have six losses in their last 15 matches, and seven wins in the process. They have six wins in their last 10 friendly matches and seven clean sheets in the process; they have failed to score in just two of those. Away from home, they have two losses and seven wins in their last 10 friendly matches, and seven clean sheets therein as well. With 11 wins in 17 matches, Morocco will not be pushovers as they go to this clash. They have not lost in any of their last seven matches and have five clean sheets in there. In 11 friendly matches, Morocco have lost just once – to Netherlands.

France Win • 1.2

Iceland and France are early front runners in Group H of the European Cup qualifiers after opening wins on Friday. Iceland saw off Andorra 2 – 0 while France were 4 – 1 winner over Moldova, with both sides playing away from home. Looking at their Day One opponents, this clash is bound to be tougher for both sides, but more so for Iceland, who will be facing the world champions at their backyard. Iceland have made a name for themselves by their grit and ability to churn out results against bigger teams. They did it at France 2016 and they have always carried that air of the giant killer. However, their win over Andorra is the first in 16 matches. They have a better run in Euro Cup qualification matches though; in their last 15, they have managed eight wins and in the last six qualifiers away from home they have won four. France on the other hand have lost just two of their last 26 matches, to Netherlands and Colombia – very strong opponents. By virtue of being hosts in the last tournament, France didn’t take part in the qualifiers and as they return to the qualifiers, they have not lost any qualifier for European Cup, the last 10 matches. In the last 16 Euro Cup qualifiers at home, they have lost just two, drawn one and won 13.

Handicap Brazil (-1.5) • 1.35

Brazil have picked six straight wins since falling to Belgium in the World Cup quarters and among the teams they have faced are formidable opponents, including Argentina, Uruguay, Cameroon and United States. Crucially, they have not conceded a goal in any of these matches and taking on a Panama side winless in the last 11 matches places Brazil as outright favorites. Brazil have also picked 10 straight wins in friendly matches and have not lost in 13 friendlies. In their last 18 friendly matches, they have conceded in just three and lost one then drew one; all the rest ended in wins. They have not let in a goal in the last 11 friendly matches. On the other hand, Panama have conceded in each of their last 10 matches and have managed just four wins in 20 matches. They are winless in eight friendly matches and have six losses in that run. This will be the third time the two nations face off; Brazil have picked wins in both earlier meetings.

Portugal Win • 1.42

Portugal won the 2016 European Championships They didn't have a good World Cup last year but this summer will bid to win the UEFA Nations League on home territory. Their European title defence begins with a qualifying match at home to Ukraine and the other countries in their group are Serbia, Lithuania and Luxembourg. Portugal's hopes are boosted by the return of Cristiano Ronaldo to the squad for the first time since off-the-field allegations. Portugal are unbeaten in their last six games but have drawn the last two against Italy and Poland. Home form is impressive with only one loss in their last 12 games. Only one of their last 20 home European Championship qualifiers have been lost.
Ukraine also had success in the Nations League winning promotion to League A. They won their group by three points from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Ukraine have reached the last two European Championship finals but lost all three of their games in 2016 without scoring a goal. There hasn't been much success in the World Cup with no appearance in the finals since a quarter-final in 2006. They come into this game on a run of just one win in their last four games and recently lost 4-1 away to Slovakia and have gone three away games without a win. Only one of their last four European Championship qualifiers have ended in victory (away to Macedonia). This looks booked for a Portugal home win.

Germany Win • 1.42

Germany heads to the game with the bold decision by head coach Joachim Loew to drop a number of old guard as he looks to give the team a fresh face following a number of unconvincing performances in the past few months. Matts Hummels, Jerome Boateng and Thomas Muller have all been told their time at the team is over while a number of youngsters are set to get their debuts. Germany were relegated in the UEFA Nations League in a group that had France and Netherlands and four wins in the last 15 matches say all about their decline over the past few years. Meanwhile, they meet a Serbia team unbeaten in eight of their last 10 matches. Serbia have also not lost a game in their last six outings; their last loss came at the World Cup, in the 0 – 2 loss to Brazil. At the same tournament, Germany had a poor show, falling to Mexico and South Korea as their title defence ended at the group stage but they will take hope in the fact that they have not lost in any of their last five home matches. The two sides have met thrice before; in the last meeting, at the 2010 World Cup, Serbia picked a 1 – 0 win but earlier, Germany had beaten them in two friendly matches.

Liverpool Win • 1.27

A staggering 56 points separate these two teams in the English Premier League. Fulham look doomed to relegation as they only have Huddersfield Town below them and are 13 points from safety, virtually 14 because of their terrible goal difference. The home side are on their third manager of the season which is only one less than the number of league games they have won this season. Fulham have lost their last six league games conceding 15 goals. In each game they conceded at least two goals, something they have done in 24 league games this season. At Craven Cottage, Fulham have lost three of their last four games and lost the reverse fixture with Liverpool 2-0.
Liverpool return to Premier League action and can go top with a win here as Manchester City are on FA Cup duty this weekend. Wednesday saw them beat Bayern Munich in the Champions League and they'd be glad that game didn't go into extra-time. Liverpool are unbeaten in their last nine league games since that loss in January to Manchester City. Away from home, the Reds have drawn their last three games but visits to Manchester United, West Ham United and Everton are tougher than this weekend's assignment. Liverpool can win this game and lead at both half and full time.

Handicap Manchester City (-1.5) • 1.44

Manchester City are unbeaten in their last 10 matches and have won nine of them, with one being the draw with Chelsea in the League Cup final, which they went on to win on post match penalties. They head to this game on the back of a 7 – 0 win over Schalke in the Champions League and in their last 19 matches, they have only lost to Newcastle United. Apart from that loss and the draw with Chelsea in the League Cup, all the other matches in the last 19 have ended in wins. They are unbeaten in their last five away matches. In the FA Cup they have two losses and nine wins in the last 12 matches. On the flip side, Swansea are struggling and in the second tier they are not even in the picture for promotion as they are 15th and have lost more matches than they have won. It will be a tough task for them to make it past this hurdle. Swansea have two wins in the last five matches but are unbeaten in the last seven home matches and in the FA Cup they have five wins in six matches played at home. Manchester City have not lost to Swansea in the last 13 meetings, while the last five meetings between the two sides have yielded over 2.5 goals. Head to head, in 19 meetings, Swansea have three wins and City 14.

Arsenal Win • 1.31

The Gunners Fell 1 – 3 to Rennes in France and just like they did in the last 16, overturning a first leg loss, they will be hoping to do the same here, the only problem here is that they face a much stronger side than BATE Borisov, who beat them 1 – 0 away before they recovered with a 3 – 0 win at home. Arsenal have such a good run at home and they will be hoping it doesn’t abandon them at this time of need. They have five wins in five home matches and have 11 wins in 13 home matches. In 11 matches at home in the Europa League, they have lost just once and also at home in the competition, they have managed three straight clean sheets heading to this game. They are unbeaten in seven home games in Europa League, winning five and in the 11 home games they have failed to score in just two. On their part, Rennes takes to this clash a five – match unbeaten run. They built on their win over Arsenal with another 3 – 1 win over Caen in Ligue 1. Their last four matches have all been at home but even in the one away game they managed a 3 – 1 win over Real Betis in Spain and will be hoping for more of the same when they tour London. They are also unbeaten in their last five Europa League matches and in each of the last three matches they have scored three goals and have no clean sheet. They have won their last two away matches in Europa League, but lost each of the previous five. In 16 away matches in the tournament, they have just one clean sheet and in 17 away matches in the competition, they have managed just five wins.

Handicap Manchester City (-1.5) • 1.39

Manchester City bid to make it at least three English teams in the last eight of the Champions League. They didn't have it all their own way in Germany when playing the first leg of this last 16 tie. Despite taking an early lead, they went 2-1 down after some contoversial decisions. Two late goals gave them a 3-2 win and it should be plain sailing for them in this second leg. City won 3-1 against Watford on Saturday to stay top of the English Premier League with Raheem Sterling scoring a hat-trick. They have won their last nine games (one via a penalty shoot-out) and 17 of the last 18. At home, they have won every one of their last 19 games with the only loss being against Crystal Palace in December. They did lose to Lyon in their opening Champions League home match this season but won their next two scoring eight goals.
Schalke 04 have a massive task on their hands if they want to reach the last eight. While they have scored under two goals in this tie they have no chance of progressing due to those three away goals that City have. Schalke are only two places and four points above the Bundesliga relegation zone and will likely need to win the German Cup to get European football next season. Friday saw them lose 4-2 at Werder Bremen and that was their fourth straight loss with 14 goals conceded. They have gone six games without a win and over 90 minutes have only won one of their last 13 away games. City can get the win in this game and be leading at both half and full time.

Handicap Liverpool (-1) • 1.21

Burnley managed to earn a point at Anfield last season with a 1-1 draw but a repeat seems unlikely. Liverpool beat them 3-1 at Turf Moor and are unbeaten at home this season with only Man City and Leicester preventing them from picking up maximum points. Liverpool need 3 points to keep the pressure on Man City after their win over Watford yesterday and only a matter of time before they hit top gear again

Handicap Barcelona (-1.5) • 1.43

It's looking good for Barcelona at the top of La Liga with a seven-point lead over Atletico Madrid. They are unbeaten in their last 14 league games winning the last three. The last two of those were important as they went away to Sevila and Real Madrid and came home with six points. At home, Barcelona have won five and drawn one of their last six league games and have only lost one of their 13 played at home this season in La Liga.
Rayo Vallecano are one from bottom in the table and two points from safety. December and January saw them win four out of five in La Liga but it's all gone wrong for them since. They come into this game having lost their last five league games and the newly promoted side look on their way back down again. Away from home, they have only won three away games and lost eight. Defeat number nine is on the way and Barcelona can win this game leading at both half and full time.

Juventus Win • 1.33

Juventus remains the only unbeaten side in the Serie A and they have been by far the strongest; they head to this game with 12 wins in their last 15 matches. The two losses in the 15 matches have come in competitions other that the Italian league. Juventus have scored two goals or more in four of their last six matches. They have not lost any of their last nine home matches and in the run, they have seven clean sheets while in their last three home matches, they have scored three goals in each. The nine matches have produced eight wins and a draw. Udinese have two wins in their last six matches and will not be in a very strong position heading to Turin for this clash. One thing sure to work against them is the fact that they have done so poorly away from home in Serie A that they have managed no win in the last eight away league matches, and have picked just two away wins out of 19 matches in the league. Juventus are unbeaten in their last six meetings with Udinese, winning five of those.

Sevilla Win • 1.41

Sevilla seem to reserve their best for the Europa League and are again progressing well in a competition they have won on several occasions. The Spanish side had a struggle to win their group but not because of their home form. Sevilla won all three home matches and did so by an aggregate of 14-1. They had a convincing win over Lazio in the last 32 winning both home and away in a 3-0 aggregate win. Their last eight home games in this competition have been won with just two goals conceded and 27 goals scored. Only one of their last ten home games in La Liga have been lost and that was to Barcelona.
Slavia Prague are top of the Czech league but couldn't reach the group stages of the Champions League this season losing to Dinamo Kiev. Moved into the Europa League, they only finished second in their group behind Zenit St Petersburg. They won two of their home games and drew the other but didn't concede a goal. Their away form isn't so hot with two defeats and only one goal scored in a win at FC Copenhagen. Go for Sevilla to get the home win here.
