Arsenal look quite short for a team who haven't won on the road in 6 games and have lost the last three (the top 2 & West Ham). They should respond here against a Huddersfield team who have lost 11/12 including the last at home. If David Wagner, so committed, felt he had to step away, it is hard to see Siewert turning things round. Huddersfield now resemble Derby's awful season in the PL (11pts). They have played most of their relegation rivals at home, so they may avoid matching Derby's record but struggle to get past Sunderland's 15pts. Scoring goals has been a problem, they have failed to net in the last 4 & they haven't netted over 1.5 goals in this barren run of 12 games. Arsenal though are yet to keep a clean-sheet on the road or won to nil, their defence suspect, however, Emery may seek a response in the same way Chelsea did against these opponents.
Huddersfield Town are bottom of the Premier League and look doomed to be relegated to the Championship. They only have 11 league points and are 13 points from safety with an inferior goal difference. Huddersfield have lost 11 of their last 12 league games (the other being a goalless draw at Cardiff City) and have failed to score in their last five league and cup games. Their last six home league games have all ended in defeat
Arsenal lost at Manchester City last weekend and are sixth in the Premier League. They are three points off the top four but need to boost their goal difference and this could be a good chance to do just that. They had some nightmares on their travels last season but had turned that around earlier this term. Recent weeks have seen a downturn in form though with four defeats in the last five. Recent opposition has been tough tough with trips to Liverpool, West Ham and Manchester City. Up against a goal-shy Huddersfield, Arsenal should be able to get an away win here to keep those Champions League hopes alive.
