Watford are a bag of revels. They go into the Liverpool game on a bit of a run, and get completely blown away. I do fancy them in this game, but I really like the Brendan Rodgers appointment at Leicester. For Claude Puel, you can't be having those results and expect to keep your job. Rodgers has played some counter-attacking football in his time, and I think it will suit Leicester at the moment. I think Leicester have had a result there.
Leicester will be buoyant after winning in midweek in front of their new manager Brendan Rodgers. There is no doubt that player power has played a part in what has been happening with the Foxes but the great thing about getting a new manager is that everyone wants to impress him, whether they have been in the team or not. Watford have had a strange week, winning 5-1 at Cardiff and then losing 5-0 at Liverpool five days later. The Hornets were wide open down the flanks at Anfield. Tactically I could not believe what they were doing, allowing Liverpool's full-backs to run into space all night. If they defend like that again against Leicester, they are going to struggle.
Leicester have had struggles on an off the pitch in the season but they have managed to somehow stay within touching distance of the top half and they will be hoping to break into the top half after this game as they look to build on the win over Brighton. It will not be easy however, as they take on a hurting Watford, coming from a 5 – 0 thrashing at Liverpool. The loss was only Watford’s second in a run of 12 matches and it ended a run of three straight wins while Leicester City’s win was the first in eight matches and only the second win the last 10 matches. The win came on the back of three straight losses. They have managed just two clean sheets and four wins in the last 15 matches. They are winless in the last three away matches in the Premier League while Watford have not lost in their last three league matches at home. Leicester have picked five wins in the last seven meetings with Watford, this includes two straight wins in the most recent meetings. In 41 meetings in total, Watford have managed 13 wins and Leicester City 18.
