Sevilla are sixth in La Liga and only three points behind the final Champions League qualifying position. They lead seventh placed Valencia by three points so a win here will strengthen their chances of European football next season. They have had a bad 2019 and had only won one of their first nine league games played in the new year. Sevilla got back in winning ways with a 5-2 win at home to Real Sociedad and a 1-0 win at out-of-fom Espanyol. Their home form has seen them in good form with only Barcelona beating them in their last 11 league games.
Valencia are seventh in the table and could have an exciting end to the season. They are already in the final of the Copa del Rey, the quarter-finals of the Europa League and could yet qualify for European football via La Liga. Valencia are three points behind the final Europa League place and only sixth behind fourth placed Getafe. They missed out on a chance to cut the gap between them and Getafe when only drawing with them at home in their last league game. Their form is good though with an unbeaten run of 15 league and cup games. A bet on under 2.5 goals can be a winner in this game.
