I don't think the situation for these 2 teams will be much different today as far as their previous games are concerned.
Hibernian is eight in the table and has even good opportunities to climb further and step into the championship final, and of course there are many matches left to play. And Steven Gerrard's Rangers goes well and also tops the table, formerly Celtic. However, Celtic has played fewer matches and only one point separates both teams.
Rangers have certainly kept the defense pretty good lately, but on the move, they almost always concede at least one goal while Hibernian make over 1.5 in almost every home match.
Both teams may score but I'll take the over 2.5
Hibernian are eighth in the Scottish Premiership but a win over league leaders Rangers will take them to within five points of their Glasgow opponents. The home side made a bright start to the season but then went through a patch of seven games without a win. This is their first clash with Rangers this season with the sides meeting again on Boxing Day. Home form this season has seen Hibs win four, draw three and only St Johnstone have come away with a win.
Rangers were knocked out of the Europa League last week but bounced back with a win over Hamilton to go back to the top of the Scottish Premiership. The win on Sunday ended a run of three games without a win including being held to a draw at Dundee who were bottom of the table. Away form hasn't been impressive for Rangers this season with only three wins in eight in the Scottish Premiership and five in the last 22 in all competitions. A difficult game to predict and the suggested tip is under 2.5 goals to be scored in the match.
