Albania reached the finals of the 2016 European Championships but have failed to build on that achievement. They failed to make it to Russia for last year's World Cup finals and were then relegated from League C in the UEFA Nations League. Albania finished bottom of their group winning one and losing three games against Scotland and Israel. They bounced back from that disappointment with a 1-0 home win over Wales. Goals have been thin on the ground though and before the Wales match they had failed to score in their last four games. Their home form is erratic with only three wins in the last 12 played.
Turkey also had a poor 2018 as they failed to qualify for Russia and also got relegated in the Nations League. They finished bottom behind Sweden and Russia and will be in League C in the next tournament. Only one of their last eight games have ended in a victory and on their travels, Turkey also have one win in eight but with four draws. They are also having problems up front and have failed to score in each of their last four matches. A bet on under 2.5 goals in this game can be a winning one.
