Barcelona returned to winning ways with a 3 – 0 win over Eibar in La Liga after their shock loss to Levante in the Copa del Rey, with Luis Suarez running rings with two goals and an assist. They play Levante at home and looking at their run in the competition, we have no doubt they will be favorites, especially with Levante largely struggling in the season. The gulf in quality between the two sides is very clear; while Barcelona are the side with the most wins in the season so far, at 13 in La Liga, Levante have only managed six wins. Barcelona have scored 53 goals, and conceded 20, losing just twice in the league this season. Levante on the other hand, have scored 30 and conceded 35 and they have eight losses in 19 matches. Barcelona’s loss to Levante is the only one in the last 11 matches. They have picked eight wins in the process and in the 14 home matches they have had this season, Barcelona have lost just once and won 10. Barcelona have suffered just two losses in their last 18 Copa Del Rey matches. At home in the same competition, they are unbeaten in 19, with just one draw therein. With just three wins in their last 12 outings, this looks like it will be a tall order for Levante. They are rarely at their best when playing away from home and head to this clash winless in their last six away games. In their last 18 away games in the Copa Del Rey, Levante have won just two.
