Let’s take a closer look at the teams.
The Red Bulls have been without a head coach since Chris Armas’ sacking last month, with Bradley Carnell filling in as interim head coach.
In my opinion, this is a fantastic appointment. The New York club claimed back-to-back 4-1 victories over Miami and Montreal Impact not so long ago, but a 3-1 defeat to Orlando City last time out proves the team is nowhere near the top sides in the country.
Worryingly, Inter Miami has conceded over 2.5 goals in each of their previous three outings. After losing 4-1 to the Red Bulls, the Florida outfit was beaten 3-0 by Philadelphia Union before suffering a 3-2 defeat to New York City last weekend.
The Red Bulls appear to be heading in the right direction again following a rough patch of their own.
