Liverpool had a late win over Fulham in their last match, heading to the international break on a high, and having played a game more, they will be hoping to keep the momentum with Manchester City in hot pursuit in second place. They are unbeaten in 12 matches, with seven of those being wins and with five clean sheets. They have scored 14 and conceded four in their last five matches. Liverpool will definitely be the favorites in this clash against Spurs, who have managed just a win in their last five games, and have not won any of their last four league matches. In fact, Spurs have lost each of the last three away matches in the league and facing a Liverpool side unbeaten in 36 home matches will place them in a tricky position. Liverpool have won by three or more goals 13 of their last 26 home matches in all competitions and ptthey have scored at least two goals in 35 of their last 52 Premier League ptgames while five of Spurs’ last six away league matches have ended in over 2.5 goals.

ENGLAND kicked off their campaign in good style by beating Czech Republic 5-0 at Wembley on Friday. Montenegro picked up a point (1-1) on the road in Bulgaria in their quest to qualify for a major tournament for the first time. Interestingly, England have beaten tonight’s hosts just once in 4 previous meetings but have never lost. Defensive solidity is the foundation of Montenegro’s approach and that worked for a large period against Bulgaria, as they held out the hosts for 82 minutes of that game. England bring a much stronger attack however with Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling leading the line for the three lions. The latter has been in superb form of late, scoring 10 goals in his 7 most recent games for both club and country, including a hat-trick last time out. With England on a 4 game win streak and Montenegro winning just 2 of their last 10 games (D4, L4), the visitors can be expected to come away with all 3 points.

Cyprus may not have much of a chance of qualifying for Euro 2020 after being drawn in a group alongside Belgium, Russia, and Scotland, but they will be fairly confident that they can avoid a humiliating bottom placed finish thanks to the inclusion of perennial whipping boys San Marino.
The hosts’ form is far from perfect, but while there have been plenty of defeats for them, there has been the odd flicker of promise as well. The Cypriots have beaten Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Gibraltar over the last couple of years, drawing against Montenegro, Slovenia, and Bulgaria as well. They even managed to avoid a bottom of the group finish in the UEFA Nations League too.
Cyprus have never been the most gifted side when it comes to footballing talent, but they do actually have some real quality in their ranks at the moment. The midfield duo of Grigoris Kastanos and Anthony Georgiou are both young talents who ply their trade for Juventus and Levante respectively, while Copenhagen forward Pieros Sotiriou isn’t a bad player to have up front by any means.
San Marino can’t say the same about their squad though. Just three of their players have scored a goal for the national side, with the most recent being defender Mirko Palazzi back in September 2017. Apart from him there is La Florita midfielder Danilo Rinaldi and striker Matteo Vitaioli who have found the net for the tiny nation.
Unsurprisingly, FIFA’s lowest ranked nation haven’t exactly been in form lately. Their 2-0 loss to Belarus in November made it a massive 27 defeats on the bounce for them, with their last draw coming at home against Estonia in 2014. Away from home things somehow get worse – Their last avoidance of defeat came in a 2-2 draw with Liechtenstein in 2003.
Defensively they are torrid as well, and that has resulted in a fair few high scoring affairs on their travels. San Marino have conceded at least four goals in nine of their last 11 away games, and with three of Cyprus’ last nine home games seeing at least four goals scored I think backing Over 3.5 Goals here, along with a 4-0 win for Cyprus, is the best bet.

Barcelona are seven points clear at the top of La Liga in what now looks like a two-team battle against Atletico Madrid. Unlike their rivals, Barcelona made it into the last eight of the Champions League with a convincing home win over Lyon. They are unbeaten in their last 15 league games since a home loss in mid-November, which just happened to be by Real Betis. Six of Barcelona's last seven away league games have been won and they are unbeaten in their last ten. Barcelona won this fixture 5-0 last season and are unbeaten in seven away league games against Real Betis, last losing in 2008.
A Europa League place is the target for Real Betis. They are eigth in the table and only a point behind the final qualification place. They are only six behind the last Champions League qualification position. Betis have had a couple of recent league defeats but have won two of their last three La Liga matches. Only two of their last six home league games have been won and the tip here is for Barcelona to get the win.

In their last match, Wolverhampton Wanderers were very close to picking a win over Chelsea but only bottled it in the final minutes, drawing in the end. They will have to make it better this time, with United expected to take the game to them. United had scored three goals a game in each of their previous three matches ahead of the loss to Arsenal, in which they also got close on a number of occasions so Wolves will have to watch out for this. United have three wins, a draw and a loss in their last five matches, while Wolves are on two wins, a loss and two draws in the same run. Wolves have five wins in their last 10 FA Cup matches and have lost three but they have scored in each of the last five. Manchester United on the other hand have eight wins and two losses in the last 10 and they have scored two or more goals in eight of the 10. In their last three away games in the FA Cup, United have faced teams currently in the top six and have picked two wins and a loss so they will feel quite ready for this one. Manchester United heads to this game on four wins over Wolves in the last six meetings, with Wolves having won one and one ending in a draw.

Salzburg is a very good team on their own, which not only does not lose in front of their supporters, but conceding very rare a goal. Napoli, however, has obtained a rewarding advantage in the lap and is hard to believe that he may lose his qualification. I'm expecting the Austrians to take advantage of the offensive from the very first minute and Napoletans to try their chance on the counter.

Leicester City’s campaign this time round has left a lot to be desired; the team is 11th on the log, has lost 14 of the 29 played and at 35 points they are 36 points behind the league leaders, Manchester City. One of their biggest downfalls has been the fact that they have failed to dominate at home as they are known to and in their 14 home matches this season, they have managed just four wins. In their last five home matches in the league they have lost four and won just one, while they have no clean sheet in the last seven league matches at home. In the last 10 league matches, home and away, Leicester have managed just two wins, and recently were forced to shake up things a little on the technical bench. However, going to a game against Fulham, the former league champions have reason to view this as a winnable game. Fulham have no league win away from home in the current campaign, and in the four they have managed this season, it has always been against sides below 14th place. Fulham have only beaten Southampton, Huddersfield, Burnley and Brighton; all struggling sides. Leicester may be struggling but are a quality above the four, and playing at home should give them more impetus. Also, Fulham are winless in their last five matches and are without a clean sheet in the last 10 matches. In the last nine meetings, Fulham have four wins and Leicester one, while head to head, in the entire 27 meetings, Leicester have six wins and Fulham 16.

Brighton have been going through a rough patch but are still a very strong home side and should beat bottom of the table Huddersfirld who are in dire form wth no wins and 9 defeats from their last 10 league games and an acute lack of goals.
This is a team from different levels at the moment.

Four of the last five Liverpool games have ended in draws and that's a trend that has to stop. It's put their hopes of reaching the last eight of the Champions League in jeopardy and their lead over Manchester City in the Premier League is only a point. They have only five goals in their last five matches and three of those came in the win over Bournemouth. Mo Salah has only scored once in the last five games and he has to improve on that strike rate if Liverpool are to go on and win the title. They are unbeaten at home in the Premier League and avoiding defeat here will take their unbeaten run at Anfield to 35 games.
Watford are seventh in the table and that might just be enough to reach the Europa League next season. They are also in the FA Cup quarter finals and have only lost one of their last eight league matches. Friday saw them get a convincing 5-1 win at Cardiff City and they'll be hoping for more goals from Gerard Duelofou who scored a hat-trick in that match. Consistency isn't their strong point though and not since September 2017 have they won consecutive away league games. They are consistent when it comes to losing at Anfield with five straight defeats and 11 goals conceded in the last two vists. Liverpool will probably be satisifed with a 1-0 win here just to stay top. Go for them to get the home win.
